Automotive & Dealer Website Design The Vehicle Sells
on the Screen
Before the Lot.

‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍ Buyers shop inventory at midnight, on a phone, weeks before they ever set foot on a lot. We design and build automotive and dealer websites where the vehicle looks as good online as it does in the showroom — dealership website design, custom builder sites, and the inventory and lead systems behind them. Remote, for clients nationwide.

WHERE THIS COMES FROM

An Entire Niche
Runs on Our Builds.

There is a corner of the automotive world where the vehicles cost as much as houses: luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter conversions. It is a demanding market to design for — every unit is photographed like architecture and sold on craftsmanship — and an entire niche of these companies runs on our builds.

Midwest Automotive Designs builds custom luxury Sprinter vans — each one a rolling masterpiece — and needed a site that could carry that level of craftsmanship without overwhelming the visitor. We designed a gallery-centric experience with clean navigation and detailed spec pages, and let the builds speak for themselves. MD Trans Sprinter converts premium Sprinters into fully-appointed luxury vehicles; we built a platform that showcases conversion models, custom features, and high-resolution inventory, and makes it easy for buyers to explore options and request quotes.

Then there’s Auto Elite, where we delivered the whole stack: an elevated marketing website, a custom inventory management system on Cloudflare, and the live inventory that renders from it. From one dashboard their team manages every vehicle — drag-and-drop photos optimized in the browser, a pending-to-available-to-sold workflow, VIN search, one-click publish — with no plugins and no monthly dealer-software bill.

And we didn’t stop at websites. We built Forecourt, our own dealer inventory-management platform — back office, hosted storefront or embed, lead capture, all Cloudflare-native — and a luxury Sprinter dealer runs its inventory on it every day. Most web agencies have never touched a dealer management system. We wrote one.

That’s what automotive website design should stand on. Receipts, not adjectives.

WHAT MOVES METAL

The Website Is
the First Test Drive.

By the time a buyer calls, they’ve usually already picked the vehicle. That decision happened on a screen — which means the website isn’t marketing for the sale. It’s the front half of the sale itself. Three things decide whether it closes:

Inventory. The vehicle page is the salesperson. Photos worth lingering over, the specs a buyer actually asks about, honest availability, and one tap to inquire. Auto dealer website design lives or dies right here — a beautiful homepage can’t rescue a listing page that reads like a spreadsheet.

Speed. Vehicle sites are heavy by nature — dozens of high-resolution photos per unit, multiplied across the whole lot. We build image pipelines that keep galleries sharp and pages instant, because a buyer who waits on a gallery starts wondering what else is slow around here.

Trust. Real photos of real units, clear presentation of price and status, nothing dressed up in stock-art gloss. A buyer spending serious money reads the website the way they’ll read the paperwork — and a site that feels evasive online costs you the walk-in.

WHAT WE BUILD

One Standard,
Six Ways to Sell.

A franchise lot, a custom builder, a conversion shop — they sell different vehicles to different buyers. The craft underneath is the same.

01

Dealer & Dealership Sites

Car dealership website design built around the inventory instead of bolted onto it — fast listing pages, vehicle detail pages that carry the sale, and an inquiry path on every unit.

02

Custom Builder & Conversion Sites

Websites for builders whose product is craftsmanship — gallery-centric layouts, model and spec pages, and quote requests. The approach behind Midwest Automotive Designs and MD Trans Sprinter.

03

Inventory Presentation & Management

Live inventory rendered from Forecourt, our own Cloudflare-native dealer platform: a clean back office, photo handling, CSV and Google Sheet sync, and one-click publish. No plugins, no monthly dealer-software bill.

04

Vehicle Photography Direction

The photos do the selling, so we direct what to shoot and how to sequence it — then run every image through a pipeline that keeps big vehicle galleries sharp, consistent, and fast on a phone.

05

Lead & Inquiry Flows

Every vehicle page carries an inquiry form, and every inquiry lands in the inbox the moment it comes in — tracked in one list, exportable any time. The moment a buyer raises a hand is the worst moment to lose them.

06

Migration Off Aging Platforms

Dealer sites accumulate plugins, templates, and monthly fees the way lots accumulate trade-ins. We move automotive sites onto fast, self-contained builds without losing rankings, inventory, or leads in transit.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Website Is the Storefront.
The Systems Run the Store.

Every automotive site we build rests on the studio’s core design discipline — and connects to the systems that keep a dealership running without anyone retyping the same listing three times.

Tell Us About
the Inventory.

There’s no package to pick and no form-letter proposal. The first step is a conversation — about what you sell, who buys it, and where the current website loses them. Then we’ll tell you honestly what we’d build.
